(1) The military police may perform the following functions for the security and arrangement of ceremony or event venue organized by the Nepali Army:-
(a) Arranging the parking of vehicles coming to the ceremony or event venue and controlling the traffic,
(b) Arranging seating arrangements according to the order of dignity for people coming to the ceremony or event venue,
(c) To check the identity card and entry pass of the persons coming to the ceremony or event venue,
(d) controlling the movement of unrelated persons around the function or venue,
(e) Making necessary arrangements for security during the arrival and departure of very special and distinguished persons at the ceremony or event venue.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), if there is a request for the security of a government function or event venue other than a function organized by the Nepali Army, the military police will provide necessary security and arrangements.
